Comment: I have been following your progress. I am interested to see you 'recognise the need for extra housing within the area' but where is the housing to meet the to be put? Tim Baker

Comment: Development of additional schools, health centres, houses, factories, warehouse, offices etc. is essential if we are to improve the standard of living for all. Green Belt was a wonderful idea, it was conceived as a public health measure linked with the garden city movement, it was hijacked by the middle classes as a way of keeping the poor away from 'their' area. Green Belt encourages commuting. Development should be adjacent to the existing urban area to make best use & improve facilities.

Comment: I disagree with Tim Bakers comments. Greenbelt was put in place to save our green spaces for the future generations, Many of greenbelt is actually farm land so whilst our country is increasing in numbers not to mention foreign population on the rise the farmers are being put out of business by the constant need for more homes and schools and shops. . . . Where will the farmers go . . . .where shall we be buying our milk, meat, and other foods . . .from new zealand!!!!! SAVE THE GREENBELT FOR OUR FUTURE GENERATIONS.
